So three priests walk into a bar… no, really. We think this qualifies as an Only in Rockaway story. Next Thursday, August 1, three priests from St. Francis de Sales will be guest bartenders at Jameson’s on Beach 129th starting at 8 p.m. You can show up thirsty and leave spiritually fulfilled (though what kind of spirits is up to you). Part of the proceeds during this Holy Happy Hour will benefit St. Francis. Father Bill, Father Jim, and Father Jomar behind the bar might be bigger than the Three Tenors. They’ve handed out wine before but let’s see how they do with cosmos and margaritas. Oh, and don’t forget to tithe the bartenders!

We hear Lime Bikes might be going the way of the hand-written letter after the summer ends. The ride-share bikes annoyed some (nobody likes finding stray ones in their driveway) but plenty of people got great use out of them (and we bet bike thefts were down a smidge). We asked DOT about the rumor and have not heard back yet.
