Ths was also known as “Beach 75th  Street Business District.” Looking west towards Beach 116th Street, on the left is Miller’s Cabaret & Casino, Etna Hotel (arch) and White Horse Hut Restaurant. Can you see the statue of a white horse on the roof front?

On the right, is Oppenheirmer’s Hotel; they called it “Opps” for short. The ground floor of Opps Hotel was “Metz & Zewperk’s Kneipe – Gambrinus Bie’re” (German/Czech: Pub – King of Beers). Adjoining was Yanowitz Department Store, they sold dry foods/goods, clothing and shoes.
