Just started getting into reading, watching interviews and offerings by Dr. Joe Dispenza. I had before but it didn’t resonate as much as it does now. And I realize I experienced one of his major illuminations over two years ago. Without realizing it, I put into practice one of his core teachings: clear intention + elevated emotions = a new energy. (From “Becoming Supernatural) At the time, I really wanted to make a change in my life for increased good health and well-being. I just couldn’t quite figure out how to turn over that new leaf or turn the switch or however you describe it. But I had the clear intention and I imagined how I would feel and how my life would change.
One evening at an event that I would not normally go to, two people “presented” themselves to me with their individual present success stories—having made the change I wanted to make. I was astonished. What were the chances? I was drawn to go to the event, and I ran into two people there who confirmed to me that I could do what I set my intention to do. So, after a couple of days, it clicked, and my intention and good feelings set toward the future allowed me to make a shift. The energy created by those things let it happen. I had the aha moment reading the above-mentioned book now. So that’s what happened!
I have often said settling in before guiding yoga classes, to set intentions because energy follows intention. I experienced this many times in small ways throughout my life. When we take in little wishes into our hearts, they manifest—although it may not be in the timeframe we want and in the way we want. Dr. Joe studies this phenomenon from a scientific perspective and he and his team create countless studies to study the brain, the heart and energy fields. What I have experienced can be explained…does that matter to me? Well, yes, and the reason it does is because it has opened up a new world: the absolutely amazing world of the human body: the human brain, the human heart, the human nervous system.
There is so much more to his revelations, and as I said, I’m just getting into it. Another profound idea that he expounded upon in an interview I viewed on Gaia: affirmations alone don’t work. We can keep on saying a thought over and over again, but it is not until we embody it, that it can become a reality. What does it mean to embody something? I understand it to mean to become that something and the way for me for that to happen is to drop into my heart space letting my body affirm my wish—then my brain puts it into words.
Whether you come to your “new energy” through science, spiritual study, meditation or a combination of all, the sum is oneness —we are all different, but we are all the same, and we all have the potential to live in joy, gratitude, love and peace.
May you be happy. May you be free. May you be grateful. May you be compassionate. May you let go of things that do not serve you. May you have inner peace.
