The Rockaway Waterfront Alliance RISE Center hosts the opening reception of Deities, Part One, an exhibit comprising of 13 digital prints composed by artist Dr. Andil Gosine from his participation in Project Prithvi, a monthly clean-up of Jamaica Bay organized by the Queens-based group Sadhana. The images show broken idols of gods and goddesses, remnants of Hindu rituals performed by local residents. This exhibit is open to the public Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., until May 28.
