ARTS

Saturday, April 13 &

Sunday, April 14

This weekend is your last chance to see the Rockaway Artists Alliance’s (RAA) presentation of Queens-born artist, Aaron Asis’ Leak Lines installation. Asis’ magnetically powerful work will have you looking upward, awed by how his use of a series of cords in tension, shrewdly draws attention to the RAA’s sTudio 7 gallery’s leaking roof, which after fifteen years of ocean winds, harsh weather and Hurricane Sandy, is severely damaged. Leak Lines inspires conversation about the past, present and future of RAA, and celebrates the sTudio 7 gallery building as art. For more info, visit: rockawayartistsalliance.org
