Labor Day ended with a bang in Broad Channel. Broad Channel residents surely outdid themselves at their annual Labor Day parade featuring floats, costumes, music and more.
On Monday, September 2, the weather cleared up enough for the Broad Channel parade to go off without a hitch, which was lucky for all as participants put in a lot of hard work into their ideas this year. There was everything from a Stranger Things float to the 50th anniversary of Woodstock to a tribute to popular song, “Old Country Road.”
After marching down Cross Bay Blvd., everyone gathered at the BCAC field to enjoy a fun-filled time with a DJ, rides, food and more.
