Hello, everybody I hope you had a great week. Let's dive into some wrestling news:
The Big Story of the Week comes from the WWE. They will partner with the A&E Channel to produce new wrestling related content starting April 2021. Their first series will be on biographies focusing on WWE Hall of Famers. Names already mentioned for the biographies are Roddy Piper, The Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Booker T and Steve Austin. The WWE will also produce a second series called WWE's Most Wanted Treasures, which will focus on lost WWE Memorabilia. As stated on wwe.com, "WWE's Most Wanted Treasures takes viewers on a journey to find some of the WWE's most iconic lost memorabilia." WWE Superstars Stephanie McMahon and Paul "Triple H" Levesque will lead a team of collectors, WWE Superstars and Legends as they investigate, negotiate, bid and travel across the country to hunt down and reclaim some of the most exclusive WWE collectibles.
All Elite Wrestling Superstar Chris Jericho has recently filed to trademark one of his Ring Names that he used during his time in Mexico and Japan which is "Lionheart" translated in Spanish, "Corazon de Leon." This was done by Chris Jericho to protect his intellectual property.
WWE Superstar Samoa Joe has recently reported that he will be returning back to in-ring performance once he is medically cleared by the WWE Medical Staff. Samoa Joe has not been seen on WWE television since February 2020 after suffering two concussions in the same month.
All Elite Wrestling Superstar Anna Jay and Brooke Havok have both suffered injuries that will take both superstars out for several months. These injuries are both very unfortunate since both women have been given opportunities to prove themselves to be moved up to the AEW main roster. We here at Wrestle Talk wish both of them a speedy recovery.
The injuries unfortunately keep on coming this time from WWE Superstar Jey Uso who injured his left toe during the WWE pay-per-view Elimination Chamber. We also like to wish Jey Uso a speedy recovery.
The Question of the Week comes from Jimmy A. from Arverne and he said, "I am a big Adam Cole fan and I was wondering why he has not been moved up to the WWE main roster?" Well, Jimmy that is an excellent question, but I'll answer it this way: Although I feel that the WWE can benefit by moving Adam Cole to the main roster, at this time I don't see any storyline for him there. If the WWE can come up with a big storyline for Adam Cole, then by all means move him up to the main roster but for now he's better off staying with the WWE's NXT brand.
