Tribute Park, on the bay at Beach 116th Street and Beach Channel Drive, was built in memory of Rockaway residents who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept 11, 2001 to provide a solemn, tranquil space with a view of the skyline where many residents watched the WTC towers collapse.
As we approach the 20th anniversary of that tragic day, we invite you to support our efforts in the maintenance, ongoing improvements and beautification of the park.
With your donation of $150, you will join us in the continued beautification of Tribute Park and, in recognition of your generosity, a brick will be placed on a pathway within Tribute Park. You will be able to have the brick engraved with a sentiment, in memory of loved one, your name, a celebration of a birth, marriage, graduation, etc. Additional details can be found on the Tribute Park website.
Engraved bricks are 8”x8” and cost $150.00 each. The sales period is from April 1 to May 31, and bricks may be purchased through our website: www.rockawaytributepark.org.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
