Speaking words of gratitude will bring you happiness and your world will become a bit brighter. You will begin to see things in a different way and your burden will lighten. We are here in gratitude for the blessing of life. Looking around we see love in all things. Sometimes we need to be reminded of all the good things we have in this world.
Start by greeting each day with a breath of fresh awareness. When you awaken, find the time to say a simple thank you for this day. Think of your blessings in life. Begin by caring deeply and let that carry you through your day. There may be mistakes and misunderstandings but we will grow from our experiences.
Prioritize your health, the health of others and our Mother Earth. Share your ideas and learnings with one another. Begin to remove the obstacles that darken or cloud your vision for a better world. Go outside for a walk, even if only for five minutes, it will brighten and refresh your day.
The ocean air is natural medicine for the body and soul. Find strength and integrity to endure from deep inside the well within your inner landscape. Show up at the community meetings to serve the greater good of all, not just your own personal agenda. Lend a helping hand to someone in need. Be grateful to be able to help someone less fortunate than yourself. The more you give, the more you will receive.
Remember to breathe throughout the day. Remind yourself that you can choose peace, no matter what is going on around you. Whenever you desire, you can retreat to that quiet place within simply by closing your eyes. Listen, feel and be part of it all. Trust your heart, it will never mislead you. Open to your inner guidance of your spirit and breathe into all that it offers you, allowing you to follow your path with grace and eloquence.
Practice love and kindness with no expectation but to be in that space. Be Love. Be Happy. Be Trusting. Be Good to yourself and one another.
By Mary Oliver
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
