Christmas Toy Drive Giveaway

Mount Carmel Baptist Church (348 Beach 71st Street) is hosting a toy giveaway from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 24. Children must be present to receive a gift. First come, first served.

Get Tested

Think you have Covid-19? Find out. To find testing sites, head to Nyc.gov/covidtest or text COVID test to 85548. Councilman Eric Ulrich’s office (114-12 Beach Channel Drive) is also offering self-testing services on Monday, December 28 and Wednesday, December 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for free. Results available in 24-48 hours.

 

Food Help for Seniors/Disabled

Are you a senior or disabled person who lives from Arverne to Neponsit and unable to get food during the pandemic? Contact Lew Simon or Jeanette M. Garramone for help at 718-945-1216. If you are able to donate any canned goods or food items to this cause, you can also reach out.
