Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Bacon
Great side dish for Thanksgiving.
- 1 (12 ounce) package hardwood bacon (or maple bacon)
- ** you can substitute turkey bacon
- 3 (12 ounce) package Brussels sprouts, halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
Slice the bacon into ½ inch pieces. In a large bowl, toss the bacon, Brussels sprouts and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Divide vegetables and bacon between baking sheets, arranging in a single layer. Roast 25 minutes until Brussels sprouts are browned and the bacon is crispy, stirring once halfway through. Drizzle with the maple syrup. Roast another 10 minutes until the Brussels sprouts are tender. Enjoy!
