Teen Dating Violence Awareness

100th Precinct Community Council
The 100th Precinct CC will hosts its monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 24 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. The captain will be on hand to give updates and address concerns. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for meeting ID and passcode. The waiting room opens at 6:30 p.m.
NYPD Housing Build the Block Meeting
On Saturday, February 27 at 12:30 p.m., those living around the Hammels Houses are welcome to join at 81-14 Rockaway Beach Blvd. for a Build the Block meeting with the 100th Precinct to address any questions and concerns with the Neighborhood Coordination Officers.
Full Snow Moon Hike
On Saturday, February 27 at 5:30 p.m., head to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge to experience Gateway’s nighttime and nightlife on a ranger-guided trek. All ages welcome. Space is limited, so please register by calling 718-318-4340. 2 miles.
AOH 50/50 Fundraiser
Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 21 is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day 50/50 to help raise money for the organization and all they do. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased from any AOH member. Cross Country Skiing
Every day there’s snow on the ground this winter, hit the trails of Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn on the Cross Country ski trail through the North 40. A National Park Service Ranger will cut a track at first snow. Call 718-338-3799 for trail conditions.
Sea Changes Rockaway Sundays
Want to join in a global movement of jumping into the ocean every week? Every Sunday at 2 p.m. head to the beach or bay and jump on in.
Get Out the Vote
Early voting is now open at the YMCA for those in District 31 to vote in the special election for city council. Election Day is at your local polling station on Tuesday, February 23.
