Free Naloxone Training
Naloxone could save a life in a drug overdose emergency. The Dynamic Youth Community and the NYPD are hosting a free naloxone training on Thursday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of 107-10 Shore Front Parkway. Participants will be given free naloxone and will learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose.
Easter on the Boardwalk
On Sunday, April 4 at 11 a.m. on the Beach 94th Boardwalk, House on the Rock Church is hosting their annual Easter Service. Free Easter bags with goodies for those up to age 13 (While Supplies Last). Free Cookies for all. Everyone in attendance will be given free raffles for multiple chances to win great prizes and give-a-ways after the Service

Health and Social Service Committee Meeting
CB14’s Health and Social Service Committee will be holding a virtual meeting on Wednesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. on Zoom to discuss a proposal for 20-50 Nameoke, a supportive housing for Formerly Homeless individuals with mental illness. Free Cardio Punch Fitness Classes

Free Online Classes
Queens Peninsula Library is offering free online classes with instructors for English Speakers of Other Languages, High School Equivalency (GED) and Adult Basic Education. The spring semester begins April 19th. Contact Victoria Barber for more info: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Senior Writing Workshops
Those 50 and older can join Kingsborough College’s five-week writing workshops for free. Basic writing workshops for beginnings will take place on Mondays at 4 p.m. starting April 26.
