Free Antibody Test
Valhalla Medics will be doing free Covid-19 antibody testing at All American Bagel & Barista (20-10 Cross Bay Blvd.) in Broad Channel on Saturday, May 8 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. This test can show antibodies from the vaccine or see if you had covid already. No insurance needed.
Far Rock Spring Fest
On Saturday, May 8 (rain date May 15), gather at Beach 20th and Mott Ave from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for a day of arts and crafts, a fashion show, live music and more.
Get those last-minute Mother’s Day gifts! Betsy’s Bazaar, located at 120-05 Newport Ave, will be hosting about a dozen local vendors on Saturday and Sunday, May 8 and 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
VFW Mother’s Day Brunch
VFW Post 260 in Broad Channel is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 9 from 10 a.m. ‘til 2 p.m. at 705 Shad Creek Road. All proceeds help support the VFW and veterans.
Mother’s Day Breakfast
House on the Rock Church (112-08 RBB) is hosting a free Mother’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, May 9 at 10 a.m. There will also be a free gift and prayer blessing for all moms. At 9 a.m. & 11 a.m. indoors in the event of rain.

Fort Tilden Hike
