It’s My Park Day: Seaside Playground
On Saturday, May 15 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., head to Seaside playground between Beach 109th and Beach 110th and Rockaway Beach Blvd. to help plant flowers, make seed paper crafts, learn about water safety from Lou of Black Surfing Association and enter for a chance to win a raffle. Bring paper scraps for the craft. Masks required. This family event is open to all.

Pollinator Program: Sustainability
On Sunday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge is hosting a pollinator programs to explore what it takes to design and care for a pollinator garden. Learn from local outdoor gardeners and wildlife enthusiasts while getting a little dirty!

The Sunday Jamboree
On Sunday, May 16 at 2 p.m., head to the Harbor Light (Beach 130th and RBB) for an open mic event hosted by the Rockawades. All musicians are welcome to bring their own instruments and perform.
