On Thursday, May 27 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., head to Rockaway Brewing Co (415 Beach 72nd Street) to buy locally made goods from various vendors.


The Rockawades at Tiki

On Friday, May 28 at 4 p.m., head to Tiki by the Sea on Beach 69th Street as The Rockawades make their grand debut at this new spot.


Squid Trio at RBQ

Squid is back and this time they’re taking over RBQ on Beach 98th Street, playing your favorite tunes on Friday, May 28, starting at 8 p.m.


Made Market

On Saturday, May 29 from 10 a.m. ‘til 5 p.m., head to 116-16 Rockaway Beach Blvd. to shop locally made goods from various vendors. There will also be a Memorial Day tribute at 11 a.m., followed by breakfast, and music by Jon Kiebon after 5 p.m.


The Rockawades at The Wharf

On Saturday, May 29 at 5 p.m., head to The Wharf on Beach 116th Street as The Rockawades play some tunes.


Big Squid at Whit’s End

Big Squid gets together for a night of music at Whit’s End on Beach 97th Street at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 29.


Betsy’s Bazaar

On Sunday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., head to 120-05 Newport Ave to shop for locally made goods from various vendors. Live music by Terrestial Bodies staring at 2 p.m.


Memorial Day Ceremony

On Monday, May 31, the American Legion will host a ceremony at 11 a.m. by the Four Chaplain’s Monument outside St. Francis Church on Beach 129th. They’ll then continue to Memorial Circle on Beach 121st at 11:30 a.m. and finish at the Doughboy statue on Beach 95th Street for a final ceremony.


Land Use and Housing Committee Meeting

CB14’s Land Use Committee will meet on Wednesday, June 2 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. The agenda includes a rezoning for 106-02 Rockaway Beach Blvd. for a storage facility, plus city text amendments on hotels, gyms and more. For Zoom access info, check out: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/queenscb14/index.page

Yoga on the Beach

Kevin Campbell is back with yoga/human movement classes on Beach 104th Street at 8:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Head to the beach and get your om on.


Fort Tilden Hike

Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., join a park ranger for a walking tour of Fort Tilden, highlighting the fort’s role in the defense of New York City during the 20th Century. Call 718-338-3799 to reserve. Tour will be capped at 10 participants. Social distancing will be maintained.  Face mask required.


Free Cardio Punch Fitness Classes
