Tribeca Film Fest
From Thursday, June 10 through Sunday, June 13, the Tribeca Film Fest will be screening films outdoors at Beach 30th Street Playground. The films are free, but tickets are required. Some films are already “sold out.” For info, see: www.tribecafilm.com/festival/live-events/borough-to-borough
Rockstock and Barrels
On Saturday, June 12, head down to Beach 90th Street between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for a day of music, surfing, skate contests, shopping and more.
On Saturday, June 12 at 10 a.m., join an Urban Park Ranger on Beach 30th Street as they point out some of the local wildlife, predominantly shorebirds like gulls and plovers.
On Saturday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. head to Beach 59th on the boardwalk to join RISE for a Community Beach Cleanup of 2021. For this cleanup RISE will be clearing the shoreline of litter in order to prevent any ocean pollution. All are welcome to participate. Dress accordingly. Students looking to do community service hours are encouraged to bring paperwork from their schools. Masks required.
Eric Adams Meet & Greet
Mayoral candidate Eric Adams will be at Rockaway Brewing Company (415 Beach 72nd Street) on Saturday, June 12 at 5 p.m. for a meet and greet and fundraiser. Stop by and ask Adams about his plans if elected.
Flag Day Celebration
On Monday, June 14 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., head to Broad Channel Park (E. 16th -18th Road on Cross Bay Blvd), join a Star-Spangled celebration for the whole family with arts and crafts, games, giveaways, and information from local organizations.
Yoga on the Beach
Kevin Campbell is back with yoga/human movement classes on Beach 104th Street at 8:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Head to the beach and get your om on.
Yoga by the Shore
Join Joann on the beach for Yoga postures, breathing practices, relaxation and meditation for all. Fridays at 9:30 a.m. in Riis Park Bay 14. Bring a towel or mat.
Every Wednesday at 3 p.m., head to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge to check out all of the blooms that Jamaica Bay has to offer on an all-weather walk. Space will be limited, so register by calling (718) 318-4340

Fort Tilden Hike
Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., join a park ranger for a walking tour of Fort Tilden, highlighting the fort’s role in the defense of New York City during the 20th Century. Call 718-338-3799 to reserve. Tour will be capped at 10 participants. Social distancing will be maintained. Face mask required.
