BCVFD Haunts Broad Channel
The haunt was on in Broad Channel last weekend. After a two-year hiatus due to Covid, the members of the Broad Channel Volunteer Fire Department resurrected their annual haunted house fundraiser, which had kids to adults running screaming from the firehouse on Noel Road.
Firehouse volunteers and community members spent several weeks bringing this haunt to life. With several detailed rooms to walk through and volunteers becoming actors to really bring it to life, it was a great thrill for the community from Thursday through Halloween night. With a nominal admission fee of $15 a person, the haunted house also served as a successful fundraiser for the volunteer firehouse. Job well done, BCVFD!
