Dear Editor:
Thank you, Peter for pure common sense in your “A Little History” article.
A show on Netflix called “Life On Our Planet” documents earth’s history in terms of billions of years. This fascinating documentary shows many examples of extreme weather conditions on earth that have occurred throughout this time.
And of course, man was not here to affect these changes.
In short, I agree with this trained scientist, Dr. Galvin, when he states it is “pure hubris” for humans to think ourselves so important that we alone can determine weather cycles on our planet.
That said, I am pro conservation. We should respect our planet, but I am not in favor of building a fire each morning to make breakfast.
