Don’t Lose It, Use It

Dear Editor:

St. Camillus is alive and kicking and Sunday was no different. Fr. Kuroly spoke about the treasure of Faith. As children we had our treasures, maybe a favorite toy, games, a pet. As we got older maybe an academic award, a scholarship, trophies for our accomplishments. We work to buy treasures – a car, a house, the latest gadgets. These are all great things to have. But let’s not forget about our best treasure. A spiritual treasure we can’t hold or see but something within us. We have God’s love and our faith. More than ever, we cannot lose our faith. Let’s use our faith for strength and comfort. Let’s share our faith with others. Let’s not bury this treasure!

The response from you to join us for Sunday Mass and the special services is uplifting. Thank you for coming back home to St. Camillus. We are still waiting for a few more of you!

St. Camillus Church is getting some TLC with more to come. We appreciate your generosity in the collections, gifts and in the recent Christmas in July 50/50.

This Saturday, August 1 at St. Camillus will be the First Saturday of the Month service with Adoration at 11 a.m., Sacrament of Reconciliation 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., Mass at 12 p.m.
