On Sunday, June 21, participate in the annual St. Francis de Sales Blood Drive in memory of Walter Blum. Mr. Blum was a pillar of the community. He paid it forward. Let’s do the same. Tomorrow is Juneteenth, the celebration of the end of slavery in America. RDRC is hosting an event from noon to 5 p.m. at the 20th Street Plaza in Far Rockaway. This year’s focus is “Building Bridges.”
