The Art of Living

Be Well Be Happy

Today is the day to say yes! Life is quite a gift. I know there are so many sufferings, worries, anxieties, feelings of loneliness, sickness, etc. May you will rise above it all and embrace this moment. I have traveled far and home is where my heart is. If you are lucky enough to live near the beach, you will be forever blessed. The ocean is healing and comforting to all who are ready to receive the benefits of spending time by the sea. There is a magical feeling when sitting by the shoreline or swimming in the ocean. Walking along the beach is a beautiful way to be in nature and connect to your essence.

Paying attention to what you have in your life creates a solid foundation for appreciating the little things. Food on the table, house with a backyard, a porch, etc. is a luxury that so many people do not have. Acknowledging and feeling compassion for those who do not have the little things. Perhaps sending them loving kindness and praying for their happiness. Our world needs kind-heartedness. Placing someone or a group of people in your mind and sending them your heartfelt thoughts will raise the vibration of positive energy.  A kind face may help a person who is suffering.

“The real secret to life is to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.” Alan Watts. Be here now. This is the only place you need to be and from this place all things are possible. We are in the midst of crisis and yet there are many opportunities to find peace and calm. Rest when you can. Be OK doing nothing and relax when you feel upset or frustrated with life. Take as much time as you need to restore your peaceful state of mind, you are here now. Breathe deeply and breathe in the world around you. Allow this world to be your sanctuary that will help soothe and calm your soul.

Living a life of truth is an art. Walking the walk without judging others and being open minded to all the changes that take place on a daily basis. Nothing stays the same as we have all learned. So, when you feel stuck or unhappy, try to go outside and take in the beautiful scenery. Focus on the good and let go of the bad feelings. Trust the universe. Be a part of the change and let go of all the resistance. Your strength is needed to swim against the currents of life. There is a lot going on right now, be kind to yourself. Progress may be slow so paced yourself. The art of living is being in the midst of chaos and finding your center within.

May you live with ease, may you be healthy, may you be happy and may you be kind.
