Registration Now Open for Antisemitism Program
Stephen M. Berk, the Distinguished Professor of Holocaust and Jewish Studies at Union College in Schenectady, New York, will be delivering a lecture on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. Professor Berk will be speaking on “Antisemitism: Past, Present, Future” at Temple Beth-El of Rockaway Park, 201 Beach 121st Street. The Rockaway Community Holocaust Remembrance and October 7th program will also be taking place at that time.
Professor Berk has an international reputation for his teaching, writing and research about topics of Russian and Soviet Jewish history, the Holocaust, the American Jewish experience and antisemitism. Do not miss the opportunity to hear this very knowledgeable and engaging speaker on the very timely current issues affecting our communities. It has been said of Professor Berk, that to hear him speak is like an “eye-opening trip through history.”
