Thrilla at Camilla

The bouts are back! On Friday, July 16 at 6 p.m., head to St. Camillus (185 Beach 99th Street) to watch FDNY Boxing take on some worth opponents from the Massachusetts State Troopers, plus some homegrown grudge matches, all for a good cause. Proceeds benefit Building Homes for Heroes and the Matt McDevitt Children’s Education Fund. Tickets available at the gate or at

Beach 109th Cleanup

In honor of World Oceans Day, head to Beach 109th on Saturday, June 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy and Surfrider Foundation - NYC Chapter on World Ocean Day for a beach cleanup.
