With the regular season wrapping up this weekend and next, Rockaway Little League teams are making their final push for playoff position.
In Minor Boys, Belle Harbor Property Owners Association tried to propel themselves into second place by upsetting division-leading Revived Residential 16-8 last Wednesday but Revived flipped the switch with a 16-7 victory on Sunday.
In Minor Girls, Walsh Properties moved within half a game of Rockaway Beach Pickleball & Golf with an 8-4 win over the division leaders on Sunday. Meanwhile, Belle Harbor & Neponsit Living notched its first victory of the season by edging Rockaway W.I.S.H., 7-6.
In the very tight race for the #1 seed in Pee Wee Seniors, first place Jets Towing and second place Breezy Wine & Liquor kept pace with each other via wins over Burn Fitness (5-3) and Barista Station (11-3), respectively.
