The Brooklyn Diocesan CYO Flag football season came to an end the weekend of June 13 and 14. St Camillus/Virgilius had a great season with all 10 teams making the playoffs. Four of those teams made it to the championship game and three of those won the Diocesan Championship. Among the champs on Sunday, June 14 were the third grade team, coached by Brian Chavanne and Drew Mulhern, the fourth grade team, coached by Chris James and Joe Brugess, and the sixth grade team, coached by Brad Palisi and Justin Fortunato.

“For our small parish to win three out of the six CYO divisions is a huge accomplishment and a reflection of the dedication of our coaches, players and the players’ families!” Coach Palisi said.
