Dear Editor:
When playing sports, you need skill, but you also need to have focus to be successful. Either by keeping your eye on the ball, the basket, the plate, when serving in tennis or pickleball, even the position of teammates. The same is true with our relationship with the Lord. We need to stay focused on Him through our daily lives for strength and success. However, because we are not perfect, we sometimes lose focus just like Peter making us feel scared and alone. We need to remember to refocus on the Lord. He is there for us to help us, to save us always.
St. Camillus had the honor of celebrating Mass with Bishop Brennan the last two Sundays. It was great to have him with us during our season of growth and fellowship.
Next Sunday, Fr. Chuck will be back at St. Camillus-St. Virgilius to celebrate Mass. Fr. Chuck will always have a place in our hearts for his encouragement and love while we were unsure of the future for St. Camillus. Come and join us to thank him!
