On Sunday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m., head to the flagpole at Bay 9 at Riis Park to join a park ranger for a walk along the beach to see and learn about what can be found on the shoreline.

Rockaway Honeyworks BYOB
On Wednesday, July 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., head to RISE (58-03 Rockaway Beach Blvd.) and bring a jar to fill with Rockaway’s own honey for $2 per ounce. The honey is made as part of RISE’s community and youth development programs, to teach us about beekeeping, honey, and the benefits to our environment.
Kayaking for Beginners
