Dear Editor:
I’d like to commend everyone on the Rockaway Times staff for your outstanding “Happy Birthday America” edition. What a wonderful job! The wrap around section history lessons bring me back to my school days, and the stories and ads this week are all red, white and blue patriotic. It is wonderful to be a part of this community and grateful you allowed me to be a small part of this edition. You are all professionals and give me hope for our great country’s future.
As my father used to say in his lifelong Italian accent at the end of every positive outcome; “God Bless you, God Bless me, and God Bless America”
